Bayview joined the small house revolution in 1946 with the decommissioning of Farragut Naval Training Center (now Farragut State Park). Many of the smaller buildings on the base were moved to Bayview and converted to private houses. They fit perfectly on the uncommonly small 25 foot wide lots found throughout town. Many of these recycled houses are getting the loving kindness they deserve through restoration. With the popularity of small houses booming it seems for once Bayview was ahead of the curve. When you drive through town keep an eye out for these veterans of WW II. Please remove all garbage from the house and put in garbage can outside. Make sure all dishes are and put away upon leaving. Strip bed linens off bed and leave on top of the bed. You do not need to roll the Murphy bed up we will take care of that. Please shoot me a text as you are leaving. Thank you, Sheri
