This 2 bedroom cottage is located adjacent to the original farmhouse at the historic Hannon homestead on the Bitterroot River, three miles south of Darby, Montana. Settled in the late 1880’s, the farmhouse and grounds sit on the western edge of the Bitterroot River with over 1700 feet of river frontage. Structures on the property date from the 1880's to 1974 including hand hewn logs and milled lumber barns and out buildings. The main house was titled in 1900. This is the site of the area's original mercantile and post office.
