The district also cautioned that reposting a threat does nothing to stop it, but only “creates fear and misinformation."

A Sioux Falls parent is voicing his concerns over the arrest this week of a 15-year-old who had a gun outside a school. He's not satisfied with how the school district communicated with parents.

The Norwalk Police Department said the threat "did not specify any specific school, town or city" but could not be completely ruled out until investigated.

The chief of police told WALB in a statement, "I personally find it sickening that the responsible individuals have attempted to create such disruption and panic."
