Overnight Russian attacks on Ukraine have killed one person in the southern port city of Odesa, according to officials. Meanwhile, state media in North Korea says Kim Jong Un has recently sanctioned the "mass production" of suicide drones.

A massive drone strike has rattled Moscow and its suburbs, injuring several people and temporarily halting traffic at some of Russia’s busiest airports.

Officials said more than 30 drones had been intercepted over suburban areas of the Russian capital in what was the biggest such attack since the invasion of Ukraine in 2022.
