A Flash Flood warning has been issued for the Park Fire burn scar in both Tehama and Butte Counties Thursday night due to heavy rainfall.

Parts of Lafayette are under a flash flood warning this morning due to heavy rain. Some parts of the city are impassable.

"The heaviest rain has ended. Flooding of low-lying and/or poor drainage areas may continue for a few hours until the water has had a chance to recede. Please continue to heed remaining road closures. A Flood Watch remains in effect until 10 p.m. Friday for western North Texas," says the NWS Fort Worth TX. The warning is in effect until 7 a.m.
